BoB crosses the Channel
The Dutch company Briefopbestelling [BoB] crosses the Channel as LetteronDemand. The company wants to bring the achieved successes in Holland and Germany [BriefaufBestellung] over to the UK. In the course of the next years, BoB also wants to expand to both China and India. Last year BoB was awarded a European tender in Holland and is now writing job application letters and CV's nationwide for all 126 unemployment agencies, the so-called CWI’s. In Germany BriefaufBestellung cooperates with several Arbeitsagenturen.
Independent research has proven that 35% of the candidates is invited to an interview if Briefopbestelling writes the job application letter and CV. When they write the documents themselves only 8% is invited. Out of the 35% of the invited candidates another 35% gets the job immediately. Due to these results Briefopbestelling has been awarded the European tender. In Germany the first results of BriefaufBestellung are even better: 50% of the candidates was invited for an interview, out of which another 50% got the job. There have been first contacts with Jobcentreplus in England.
